Don't go out on date night

Last night I couldn't find anybody to go out with. So I thought no problem I am a big girl I can entertain myself. I decided to take my chances and go to the cinema alone. This turned out to be one of the biggest mistakes of my short life. I went to Bas Vegas up the road which is a big leisure park with restaurants and entertainment etc. I decided on the 8.30 showing of You, me and depree (which wasn't that great). Stupidly I didn't think that I would be the only one there without a friend or date. Yes I go to the number one date movie alone. When I asked for one ticket I was met with "Oh, are you sure?". It got worse when I asked for the popcorn deal for one. I decided to choose somewhere near the front to try and be invisible. However Fridays happen to busy nights at cinemas so I was sandwiched between two of the most loved up couples I have even seen. I had to contend with kissing on both sides of me as well as the occasional sympathetic glances of "poor girl can't find anybody to go to the cinema with her so she has to come by herself". Needless to say it was quite a painfully embarassing experience which was not helped by the fact that the movie was poo. After this I needed some ice cream to cheer myself up. What goes with ice cream? The beach of course! So in my fantastic state of mind I decided to drive to the beach at 11 o'clock at night. Even with TomTom I ended up getting a bit lost and lets just say I think I took the scenic route. When I got there I thought I might stay to watch the sun come up but after half an hour I needed a wee so I had to come home. The moral of the story is don't go out alone on date night and have a wee before you leave to go to the beach.

On another note my sister visited the place she was born in Germany. The hospital is now a mental institution. Screams volumes doesn't it?!
