First of all I promised in the last blog that I would post a picture of my flowers once they had come out in bloom, so here you are. They are really nice and lasting a long time. How long do flowers last before they die?
I have been checking out Cathherine's blog and she has had loads of posted comments. Me? Jealous? Nah. I just have one thing to say. "Pay attention to ME!!"
I started back at school and it was the best week ever. Teacher training day on tuesday and only teaching lessons on wednesday and thursday - I wish that all working weeks were like that. I decided to try out some of the exercise classes at the gym with mixed results. On wednesday I tried body combat. As most of you know I am not really known for my co-ordination. Note to self: when everyone punches to the right do not punch to the left as this avoids hitting the person standing next to you! The next day I tried out the dance class which was actually really fun. It was a mixture of different styles including hip hop. I looked so cool. Yes, that's right i'm down with it! I will probably stick with the dance class to get my moves sorted!
On Friday night I went out with some people from uni which was really nice. We said that it was Tara's birthday (it was not) and we got balloons on the table and she got sparklers in her dessert. I wonder what else you can get for free if you say it is somebody's birthday?? Of course the helium balloons provided a lot of entertainment. You are never too old to inhale some good old helium and piss yourself laughing....
On saturday Alby and I went to the zoo. I got all the way to and back from Banham zoo without getting lost - despite any rumours! I would like to remind people here that I am actually a good driver :-) (most of the time). There were loads of cool animals, I especially liked the monkeys and the penguins. I think that the only thing I was a bit unsure about was the tarantula. Yuk! There were lots of lemurs too, I think that the zoo was a bit of a fan. There were some really tiny monkeys including the emperor monkey - check out the 'tache.
There was also a zebra who perhaps was a bit excited - check out his thing. I didn't know where to look! We also saw the penguins, the seals and the tigers being fed which was really cool. Woot! It was especially good seen as the weather was really sunny, roll on the summer!
Ooh I bought "Bop-it extreme 2". I am slightly addicted and my high score is at 99. I don't think I am sad - do you?! I also managed to finish my easter egg today - hmmm chocolate!
Ok, ok I really should do some work now as feeling a wee bit guilty. I send you all out big hugs! Hope I hear from you all soon.
As always, take care xxxx
